New Delhi:
Aparshakti Khurana certainly deserves the title of the best brother. The actor, who is Ayushmann Khurrana’s sibling, was recently asked how he feels when people compare his success to his brother’s fame. To this, Aparshakti replied, “Is swaal ka javab is situation ke andar ata hai ki jab aap ghar pe baith ke ek saath khana khate hai tab us samay equal darja hai ke nahi. Jis din mere bhai ne mujhe yeh dikha diya ki mai tujhse bda star hu, mai tujhse zada famous star hu, that is the end of the road. What people are saying is not the end of the road. [The answer to this question lies in the situation where you sit together and eat at home—whether there is equal respect at that time or not. The day my brother shows me that he’s a bigger star than me, more famous than me, that would be the end of the road. What people are saying is not the end of the road],” during an interaction with Shubankar Mishra.
Aparshakti Khurana also shared that he touches Ayushmann Khurrana’s feet every morning as a mark of respect and affection. He added that he always wishes for his brother’s continued success. Aparshakti shared, “Mujhe aise lagta hai kyuki mai roz subah uthke unke pair haath lagata hu. Jis insaan ke aap pair haath laga rahe hai, jo aapse bada hai, uske paas zada rahe. Yeh ghar ki khushhaali ke liye, aur otherwise zindagi ke liye perfect hai. And, I would not want it any other way in another lifetime.[I feel this way because every morning I wake up and touch his feet. The person whose feet you touch, who is elder to you, should have more. This is important for the happiness of the home, and for life in general. And I wouldn’t want it any other way, not even in another lifetime.]”
On the work front, Aparshakti Khurana was last seen in Zee5 original Berlin. The movie, directed by Atul Sabharwal, also featured Ishwak Singh and Rahul Bose. The spy thriller had its world premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles in 2023.
